The powers that be have a sick sense of humor.

When the Gregory family went back to their house to survey the wreckage after it burned down, they found salvaged an ironic relic: a copy of the Jonas Brothers' tour book titled "Burning Up."

Yikes.

"It was a very emotional process, but as we walked up to what used to be our porch, we saw this," Twitter user @gayyspice said. "Sometimes God knows you need a good laugh."

Although everything else around it is destroyed, the book cover — complete with the Jo Bros rocking the most late-2000s sideswept hair — was still intact. It's almost as if the book was the only thing that wasn't burning up.

Joe and Kevin Jonas even commented on @gayyspice's post with their condolences and words of support.

"I hope this brought a tiny bit of joy," Joe Jonas replied.

Even though other Twitter users admitted to feeling bad for laughing, @gayyspice assured them that it was totally fine because the situation was pretty funny.

So much for slipping into the lava.

The Gregory family has a GoFundMe set up to help recover from the fire.
