UPDATE: June 14, 2019, 10:23 a.m. AEST Instagram announced that the platform is "fully recovered" and that "[we] apologize for the disruption."

There must be a glitch in the Matrix because Instagram appears to be down.

Beginning around 2 p.m. PT on Thursday, Instagram feeds stopped loading and refreshing for some users. Some received a gray bar saying, "Couldn't refresh feed." Instagram also displayed a red box with the message, "We're sorry, but something went wrong. Please try again."

According to Down Detector, the problem is affecting the East and West Coast in the U.S., as well as parts of Europe and South America.
