The unnamed cub seems poised to become the latest zoo celebrity like Mashable Zoo Queen Fiona The Hippo and Berlin's other famous polar bear cub, Knut (RIP).

Keeper Florian Sicks told Reuters, “Tonja is a very good mother, taking incredibly good care of her cub, never letting her out of her sight. We can’t complain.”

Tonja and the cub will stick around at Tierpark Zoo for the next two years before being moved to another zoo. The cub's father has already been moved to a zoo in the Netherlands.
