CNN won't drop out of this year's White House Correspondents' Dinner like President Donald Trump, but they're still going to do things a bit differently.
Outlets such as CNN often invite celebrities along as guests, but this year CNN plans to bring journalism students.

The tone of this year's dinner is certain to be different than it has been in years past. Magazines such as The New Yorkerand Vanity Fairhave canceled their traditional parties, and the president won't attend for the first time since President Ronald Reagan rested in 1981 while recovering from an assassination attempt.
Trump has disparaged media outlets such as CNN and The New York Timesin recent weeks, calling their stories "fake" and referring to media as the "enemy of the American people."
He did, however, manage to wish everyone a pleasant evening in his absence.
