Twitter has rallied behind Leslie Jones after she shared her personal fear of dying alone.

Leslie Jones isn't one to be shy on social media. The Saturday Night Livecast member has used Twitter for all sorts of things such as landing a date, making her way to the Olympics, and sharing the rollercoaster of emotions one goes through when watching Game of Thrones.

But on Monday, Jones turned to Twitter to share a feeling that we all have gone through at one point: the fear of being alone.

In a mid-workout selfie, Jones explained that she felt like all her hard work was pointless.

"OK back to cardio. But confession I feel like I’m doing it for nothing," she wrote on Twitter. "... I really feel like 'what’s it all for' if the people you want to notice don’t. I just feel like I might die alone. Sorry that’s pretty heavy today!!"

Her feelings struck a chord with many. People immediately responded to the comedian with their sympathy, empathy, and advice in dealing with all the very real feelings Jones tweeted about.

Some assured her a significant other would come, others told her to find solace in her own strength, but all showed major love.
