Speaking to the nation about the novel coronavirus on Wednesday evening, President Donald Trump, for some reason, took a number of deep, labored breaths. And — because the internet is the internet — someone brilliantly edited all those moments into one disturbing supercut. Twitter user @schnd, whose website lists his real name as Steve Seidel, posted that his daughter put together the edit. "my teenage daughter edited together a version of trump's address with only heavy breathing moments and I honestly don't think I've ever been prouder of her," @schnd wrote. "Best short film of the year.! [sic]" Moore wrote on Twitter. Tweet may have been deleted The user @dyl_seidel, apparently the creator of the video, was thrilled with the faux award from Moore. "I’m truly honored for this award...I’d like to thank the academy and my 2013 Mac book air," @dyl_seidel wrote in response. The deep breathing wasn't the only bit of weirdness from the Trump address. A hot mic from C-SPAN broadcast him dropping an F-bomb beforehand and sighing deeply afterward. |
