How did you celebrate international “Talk Like a Pirate” Day? Did it involve pirate porn?

If so, you ARRRR not alone, matey. Pornhub reports that thanks to the unofficial holiday, which happens every year on Sept. 19, searches for for pirate-related videos skyrocketed.

According to the porn platform, searches for pirate content rose by an impressive 367 percent on that day. Shiver me timbers.

The site’s statistics show millennial men between ages 18 and 35 are most likely to hunt for pirate porn. And they were 41 percent more likely to sink their hooks into it than women.

So what exactly were these pirate fanatics after?

"Pirate," simple and to the point, was the most used term. Pirates of the Caribbeancame in second. Other notable keywords people were, “space pirate,” “you are a pirate,” and “pirate fetish machine.”

This isn't the first time a holiday or special event has led people to search for related adult entertainment. But in this case we can only hope people found whatever pirate booty they were seeking.
