In cities around the world, members of the LGBTQ community gathered for annual Pride marches to celebrate progress and demand further action in pursuit of equality.

The marches on June 25 and 26 capped off the final weekend of Pride Month.

June has been a particularly difficult time for the LGBTQ community-- on June 12, a mass shooting at a gay nightclub in Orlando left 49 people dead. Many marched on Saturday and Sunday in solidarity with the survivors and victims of the shooting.
