Forget Windows Phone. Microsoft just revealed a dual

Microsoft shocked the crowd at its big hardware event Wednesday by revealing a dual-screen Android phone named the Surface Duo.

Unlike the Samsung Galaxy Fold, it doesn't have a flexible screen that folds. Instead, Duo has two separate 5.6-inch screens, which can be folded against each other on a hinge. Apps can run separately on each screen, or be displayed across both of them.

Technically, Microsoft didn't call the Surface Duo a phone but ... yeah, it's basically a phone. The company says it should be available during the 2020 holiday season.

Microsoft also revealed a dual-screen tablet called the Neo, as well as new Surface Earbuds.
