In every election, someone's victory party is abruptly cancelled.
Following election results, the team behind Hillary Clinton's victory rally at New York City's Javits Center had the somber task of packing up all the fun stuff and putting it away.

The confetti cannons themselves were disassembled as Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta sent the audience home.
