Malala is off to college and needs your packing advice

  

Malala Yousafzaiis off to college and asked for packing help this weekend.

The 20-year-old activist and Nobel Peace Prize winner will attend Oxford University this year as a freshman studying philosophy, politics, and economics. Yousafzai, a staunch advocate for global education, turned to Twitter on Saturday morning to ask her followers for their best packing advice.

"Packing for university," she wrote on Twitter. "Any tips? Advice? Dos and dont's?"

black-ish's Yara Shahidi, who is an incoming freshman at Harvard this year, told Malala to bring books and download podcasts for downtime on campus.

Others gave Malala advice on things to improve dorm life, like flip flops for the shower and adhesives for dorm room walls.

The good people of Twitter suggested Malala make sure she has a sturdy backpack and...toilet paper.

While some people told Malala to overpack, others told her to pack light, which confused the incoming freshman a bit.

But regardless of how much or little she squeezes into a bag, one person summed up a lot of folks' thoughts with the best piece of packing advice:
