Welp, this is a long snake.
Two policemen in Australia have come across probably the longest snake you'll see in a while, during a night patrol north of Cairns in Queensland.

"There was no passing in the police vehicle until this scrub python was good and ready to move," said a Queensland Police statement.
"Seizing the opportunity for a quick photo, Sergeant Ben Tome sent his colleague Acting Senior Constable Chris Kenny out of the car to stand next to the giant."
The scrub python, also known as the amethystine python, is Australia's largest snake. It's usually found in rainforest, but has been seen near buildings, according to James Cook University.
Fortunately it isn't dangerous, but can bite, and mainly preys on birds and mammals.
