When Teigen texted her dad, Ron, to tell him about John Legend's Emmy nominations, he responded in the most clueless fatherly way possible.

"John got two emmy nominations for Jesus Christ," Teigen told her dad, referring to Legend's performance in Jesus Christ Superstar."He will probably get the EGOT!"

An EGOT is the holy grail of performance awards. If you get to claim the esteemed EGOT title, it means you've received an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony award, so it's a pretty big deal. The list of people who've landed all four awards is small, and includes legends like Whoopi Goldberg and Audrey Hepburn.

Teigen's dad breezed right past her announcement to tell her something that was clearly moreexciting than winning one of the most coveted titles in the entire entertainment industry.

He didn't have any blank thumb drives, but he had a 32 GB micro SD card.
