How to change your iPhone name

Here's how to change your iPhone name in a few quick steps.

Step 1: Go to Settings on your iPhone

From Settings, go to General,About, and then Name.

Step 2: Change your iPhone's name

In the Namesection, you can tap the field to erase the current name — or just start typing the new name. Once you've entered the new name, hit Doneon the keyboard. Voila! Your iPhone has a brand new name and a whole new identity (if that's what you want).
