Ever wanted to call someone on Twitter (sorry, X)? Soon, you'll get your chance.
According to Twitter/X owner Elon Musk, the company is about to launch video and audio calls.
In a tweet Thursday, Musk also listed some of the feature's traits: It will work on iOS, Android, Mac, and PC, he wrote, and no phone number will be needed.

Musk didn't say anything on when the feature might launch, beside saying it's "coming."
This is not the first time we've heard of audio and video calls on Twitter/X. The company's designer Andrew Conway shared screenshots of the feature in action back in July.

In the screenshot, the audio and video call options are added in the top left of the DM screen. There's no word on whether this feature will only be available for Blue subscribers.
