Harry Pottermay have come out 19 years ago, but this party was 29 years in the making.
Liz Edmonds, a.k.a. n3rdychik on Imgur, shared photos of her intricate Harry Potter-themed 29th birthday party, complete with, well, way more Wizarding World references than you are expecting.

"I've never had a surprise birthday party, let alone a Harry Potter themed party. I'm stationed in Germany and leaving to go back to the US 5 days before my birthday," she wrote on Imgur.
"My friends decided to throw me a birthday party before I leave, and the party they threw was so amazing! I cried. A lot. I can't believe they did this all for me. They truly are my family away from home."
Here are photos of the awesome event.
Run through the wall between Platforms 9 and 10 when you first arrive.

Then, take a ride on the Hogwarts Express.

Sweets are provided by Honeydukes, of course.

But if you are interested in a stronger libation, The Three Broomsticks has got you covered.

Felix Felicis and Amortentia are available – but consume them wisely. You don't want to wind up going home with an unfriendly wizard or witch.

Just because Quidditch isn't one of the party activities doesn't mean you can't enjoy a golden snitch.

Wizards from all four houses are welcome ...

...even those bearing the Dark Mark.

But if you do let any dark wizards in, watch out. They might get too into the theme and write on your walls with blood.

Some favorite characters made an appearance, including Hagrid and Hedwig.

Edwards' patronus, a penguin, even found his way into the bash.

Other assorted items at the party that will give you all the Harry Potter nostalgia include a Maruader's map, magic wands, mandrakes, mail, Daily Prophet clippings and posters.

And if guests aren't having a good time, they can just wander into the Forbidden Forest and chill with Aragog.

Hopefully we'll be invited to Edmonds' 30th.
