If the holidays don't feel right this year, it might have something to do with the White House.
A few weeks ago we were giftedwith Melania Trump's White House holiday decorations, but something was missing...
The Obamas.
Every year we anticipated how the first family, specifically Queen Michelle Obama, was going to top her decorations from last year. Alas, now we're only left with memories of the past.
So let's forget for a moment about 2017 by looking back all the holiday cheer the Obamas brought us.
2009: The first holiday tradition begins with lots and lots of decorative trees.

2010: The decorations spread throughout the White House.

2011: A new take on modern Christmas with papier-mâché trees and a Bo sculpture. (Yes, please.)

2012: The decorations were filled with more Bo, more red, and more balloons because why not?

2013: They decided on a bold statement of not just red and green, but all the colors of the rainbow.

2014: Not one, but two dogs now, with the addition of Sunny to the family.

2015 : At this point, if you're not using your pets as the staple of holidays you're doing everything wrong.

2016: For their last year (cue the tears), they combined female empowerment, winter wonderland, and an avant-garde look.

It's fun to take a stroll down memory lane, but honestly it just makes us miss the Obamas even more. Sigh.
